This is an exquisite opal pendant set in solid 14K yellow gold. The setting is simple, elegant, and classic, highlighting the amazing opal. The opal is a triplet, which simply means it is a slice of opal on a backing with a protective clear cap over the top of it. This is often used with opals, as a way to protect the delicate pieces. The fire and color in this opal is spectacular, with flashes of blue, green, red, yellow, and orange. Looks great in all lighting and with any outfit. 
It measures just under 3/4” long and approximately 3/8” wide. It is stamped 585, or another way to indicate 14K gold. In excellent condition!
